The only 'dangerous' bit is the ROM upgrade as this can create an RAQ which
will not boot up. Using the PKG file from Bruce is about as safe as it gets.

You can do another OS restore back to a RAQ3 if there are any problems with
the RAQ4 restore, even with the later ROM PKG installed.


BTW
Some people on the list get upset when you 'top post' try not to do it if
you want to avoid the death of 1000 flames ;-)

Download the PKG file for the 2.3.38 rom version for RAQ3/4

Say thank you to Bruce!

Install the PKG file BEFORE you do your OS restore.

Once the PKG file has finished you will see the rom pkg in the installed
software.
When you do the OS restore the new ROM version will be the one that will
stick.

The usual warnings apply that your RAQ could be turned into a brick by using
these PKG files etc....
