Hi,
I have a RAQ 550 and I am using Webalizer as provided by PKGMASTER. I
have made the auth_pam change and the system has been functioning well
for approx 3 months.
During that last week or two my new clients are having problems
accessing their /stats directory. The error message is simply "You do
not have permission to access the requested file on this server.".
When I telnet to the server I find that the ownership of the files in
the /stats directory is 'nobody' however on sites where the stats works
the owner of the files is 'httpd'.
It seems that for all new sites I create the stats do not work. When I
change the owner to 'httpd' it allows me to login and see the stats
files as normal.
The only thing that has happened recently is that I have applied all the
recent Cobalt patch updates. The auth_pam line is still set correctly in
the httpd.conf so now I am stuck. If the problem is related to the
patches then someone else out there must have already experienced and
resolved this problem!
Thank you in advance for your help,
Colin.
