Talking to a couple other people on this list over the past couple of weeks
led to this question ... Anyone else seeing boot times on the RaQ4 taking
in the neighborhood of 15-20 minutes?
In all cases that I know of, we're running ~40GB drives, and usually doing
pretty ok on memory (~512MB or so). These systems are up to date on patches
or pretty close to it. These are not RAID enabled systems, so the issues
with RAID syncs at startup shouldn't be the problem. The delay seems to be
filesystem related, but I'm not sure what's taking > 10 minutes to check/do
with the filesystem during startup. Anyone seeing similar?
