Manny,
I had a similar problem twoce on the same server and the fans were fine. So
I commented out the line in the /usr/sausalito/swatch/bin/am_fans.pl that
tells the server to shut down with a fan failure. It will just email me now.
I also added a line for it to make sure the file is
there before using values from it:
if (! -e "/proc/cobalt/faninfo"){
print "It is not there";
exit;
}
