About the only step not mentioned is tracking deown the domain(s) ir ip's
that are selling goods, sweervices or phishing and reporting them to thier
upstream.
The thought is to make the spammer think twice about hiring little timmy to
push his spam, as well as sending little timmy to the poorhouse.
The issue is hard when dealing with overseas locations like Russia, Brazil,
Korea and China. If we keep at it and keep yelling at the "persons that
think they are in charge"(read: politicians, ITN, ICANN etc) somethinfg
will happen, press reports are indicating things are changing, and my
business partner in China this month says it is even changing there.
Just keep pounding away at the spammers. One case of spam a week is all we
ask.
