[cobalt-users] sendmail - deferred connections

Seems for some reason that the last week my 550 is having probs with email
accounts, and a large number of emails have been "deferred: connection timed
out" with different mail servers of various recipients.

The amount is a lot higher than the occasional.

Is there something going lately with mailservers out there (worms, etc), or
is this something on my box. Haven't done anything to the 550 in the last
couple of months...no patches, etc, and it does have the security package
from SolarSpeed, which tells me that there continues to be a heck of a lot
of port scanning activity the later part of this year.

What would be the various sendmail files I need to look into?
