I will be making many versions as I see fit.  I would suggest you look at
The pkg so you don't have to start your sentence with a "if" and review
http://www.sng.ecs.soton.ac.uk/mailscanner/  and
http://www.sng.ecs.soton.ac.uk/mailscanner/ChangeLog as it gives great clues
to why I have not built the latest unstable version, etc..
