[cobalt-users] system hangs at boot after insmod aic7xxx

Hi everybody,

doing a insmod aic7xxx after the start of my Qube3 2.2.16C37_III, my tape 
backup works just fine. (All patches applied)

If I put at the end of /etc/rc.d/rc.local the line "insmod aic7xxx" the 
qube hangs at startup. After disconnecting the tape drive, the system 
starts up normally.

The same thing happened if I un comment the line "alias scsi_hostadapter 
on" in /etc/modules.conf.


Any recommendation how this can be fixed ?
