In the process of rebuilding a RaQ4i and am having problems creating a
customised OS restore CD. I'm using the latest 960-RAQ40101BU.iso from
ftp://ftp.cobalt.com/pub/iso and have added all the PKG files from
RaQ4-All-System-0.0.1-7657.pkg to RaQ4-All-Security-2.0.1-16620.pkg into the
NFSROOT_X86\BTO_SYNC\BUNDLES directory as per Bruce Timberlake's directions on
http://list.cobalt.com/pipermail/cobalt-users/2002-May/070800.html
I can build a "vanilla" restore CD without any problems, however as soon as I
try using a version with the added PKG files I get the following error message
during the boot process (I'm using a network boot; the following message is
displayed on the machine with the OSRCD in):
Warning: unable to open an initial console.
Kernel panic: No init found. Try passing init= option to kernel.
It might be worthy of note that I'm modifying the ISO using WinISO on WinXP and
am writing the CD from an Apple Mac :-)
Thanks in advance.
