Just untar/gunzip
cd into it
type make
./memtest all
You will get a lot of error items for malloc, but it is just
trying to malloc all it can for testing.
It won't test all your RAM, just that which isn't being used.
There is another memorytest but not sure how you run it on a RaQ
we use it on Linux desktops wehre we can boot from a floppy
Search for memtest86 IIRC
