Hi Guys,
The url is ugly, but has anyone had a look at this offering from Toshiba?

I came across it when looking for a FileMaker Server "appliance";

> The Toshiba Magnia SG20 Server Appliance is a powerful little server with two
> 20 Gigabyte drives, built-in Wi-Fi access, and a 7-port auto-sensing
> Ethernet Switch, all in a compact 2.7" x 13.4" x 10.6" package, weighing only
> 10 pounds.

> The Toshiba Server utilizes Red Hat Linux for the operating environment.
> However, it requires no knowledge of Linux and does not involve the use of
> command line instructions! Standard software services provided include DHCP,
> VPN, a built-in Firewall, remote IT administration, Enhanced Backup
> capabilities, Intranet, FTP support, remote dial-in, and Internet Access which
> includes Email services, Web Serving and Web Caching.
Unfortunately Toshiba Aust doesn't seem to know anything about them.
In the meantime, the LaCie Ethernet Disk looks promising as a FileMaker
Server appliance ... same physical size as a RaQ, but running XP Embedded.
Given that inside its just a PC it may be a suitable hardware platform for
the Qube3 OS if it becomes available for "generic" hardware.
Cheers, Malcolm
