I've stopped using my Powerbook G4 entirely since 10.2.5 or so; the amount of
bugs in the operating system absolutely shit me, especially when it comes to
developing (god, how slow is Terminal.App?).
Mac OS X Server has been absolute and utter hell to administrate; I don't
understand why an update overwrites configuration files, even sometimes not
respecting changes made with the Admin Tools (ack, how buggy are these?)
Apple don't always seem to backup config changes, either :(
(That said, very shortly after the x86 Qbalt release I'm planning on
rebuilding things for a PPC installer, which should be as actively maintained).
I'm really hoping 10.3 will fix things (the dev beta's are nice) - OS X is an
awesome operating system, with some very, very cool features, and I love its
usability in general; it just feels like beta software.
