[cobalt-users] Mail stops working on RaQ4.

For the last couple of days, every day, our mail services on a RaQ4 have
frozen up and not allowed POP, SMTP, nor IMAP connections.  Trying to
connect to these services eventually times out.  All three services freeze
up at the same time and can be temporarily resolved by stopping the service
and restarting it, but will freeze up again 20-36 hours later.

I have so far been unable to find anything in /var/log to reveal any
information about  what is going on and am tempted to run the mail daemons
through strace for a day or two though I'm not sure I'll have the diskspace
(or patience) for such a log.

Has anyone encountered something similar to this?  I have not yet been able
to find anything in the list archives related.

ps. On an unrelated note, are there any patches for the active monitor
service?  It seems that the only service which is ever shown as monitored is
email, even though everything else is set to be monitored as well.
