I'm not using SpamAssassin in conjunction with MailScanner, but I am using
DNSBL. Although SpamAssassin is probably a nice filter, I prefer to reject
messages before the server accepts them for delivery. I feel this is a great
way to reduce spam, and it doesn't use the bandwidth that allowing the
messages to be accepted does. MailScanner and sendmail both have the ability
to reject mail based on DNSBL. You might want to look into using them to
reduce the amount of spam you receive.
