[cobalt-users] [RaQ XTR] Telnet Question

Hi Everyone

I may be being stupid here but I have a question. I am trying to enable
shell access to a specific user on a website on my Raq XTR. It seems
that when I edit the user's properties there is not a checkbox to tick
to enable the access but rather, just the word "Disabled". I checked on
the default user settings for that site, again just the word "Disabled"
without any checkbox to enable it.

I then went back to server management and noticed that the default site
settings we set to disable shell access. I enabled shell access at this
point but still could not enable it in my user. I went to add a new site
in the server management and at that point it allowed me to specify if
the site would allow shell access. This obviously means that if, when I
created the site I had of enabled shall access that it would be there as
an option for me to enable for different users later on. As shell access
was not enabled when I created the site, how can I (a) enable it for the
site and (2) enable it for the user?

Does this mean that other things like FrontPage Extensions, CGI and SSL
that are set at the time you create a site will give me the same
problems if I want to change a site to use these fatr the site has been
created?

Thanks in advance.
