Believe the Cobalt GUI uses the file /etc/mail/sendmail.cf.master as its
"starting" point when making any changes. I make a habit of backing up the
cf file, making my changes, then copying that file (sendmail.cf) to
sendmail.cf.master and have not had any problems with the GUI overwritting
anything (knock on wood)... Just as FYI, I use <filename>YYMMDD as my backup
method so that yesterdays file would be sendmail.cf.030827 so I can always
get an idea of not just what it is, but approximately when...
