I'm trying to connect to my Raq 550 in single user mode but I can't seem
to get it working. I'm trying to communicate from COM1 on my laptop but
it's almost as if the 550 doesn't see anything connected to it's primary
serial port when I reboot it.
Has anyone had problems (or been succesful) with booting into Single User
mode? There appears to be limited documentation on this.
I tried the following process from a support site I found but it doesn't
seem to work either:
------------
Boot Single Mode:
If you boot with the serial console attached, you can hit space to enter
the ROM setup. You can then use the following commands: boot set_params
single bfd and you will get single user mode TOP
------------
Thanks in advance,
Brendan
