Ok, I noticed if I went into network neighbor/entire network/ etc.. I
wasn't seeing any of the nodes. So I changed my machine name and now I
can see the nodes/Samba shares but still can't ping the raq or get to
the webpage/mail. So maybe next I should try changing out my nic?
Now I changed my nic card, my machine name, and my ip address, the
switch I'm connected to, and I cannot get connected to that raq. It
looks like now I cannot access nodes under network neighborhood,
although my mapped drives to the other private raq still work. So I
don't know what to try next, short of buying a new computer. All the
other computers I have no trouble pinging the raq from, on the same
subnet as my computer. Maybe it is not a raq problem so perhaps this
isn't the place for seeking help. But it could be the raq has blocked
me. Maybe not... hmmm.
cheers, Jim
