Renumber ns.domain.net to colo B address space in your DNS first,
then at the registrar second.
m> What is the best way to switch ns.domain.net and ns1.domain.net
Some registrars allow you to set NSes on multiple domains in one
fell swoop.

As long as the IP addresses for both ns and ns1 are on that
machine, you'll be okay. Otherwise your DNS NOTIFY messages to
ns.domain.net (currently at Colo A) will cease.
