Just thought that folks here would like to know this.
I backed up all of the files in the /var/cobalt directory
Then I zeroed out some of the bigger log files.. wow! df happiness.
Just zeroing the crond log brought /var from 100% to 45%
To zero the file, I just found a zero length file and cp'd it
to the original.
An hour later the files are happily growing again :) so they seem ok.
