I do not have a problem with you offering a free script, package or anything
else Cobalt related on the list.
How about the next time you do something like this just post a message here
saying you are letting the first five people download a copy of your latest
package. Do not mention that they can buy it if they are unsuccessful,
instead put a link on your download page showing where they can buy it if
they did not get the free one.
Also tell people that if they have a problem getting the free download not
to post their problems on Cobalt-Users, but send them to you directly. That
is what bugged me, I did not mind the first post about the download but then
I got an inbox full of replies about problems getting access to the download
and other questions. Posts about problems on your site are really off-topic.
I also think that there was a long thread a while ago about the use and size
of tag lines.
