I am in the process of trying to restore
approximatedly 150 websites to a raq4r.
I used the raqbackup.sh/cmuExport to backup up all my
data to a second machine. I then restored the OS on
the Raq4r and now have copied all the backed up files
back to the Raq4r in a directory called /home/restore.
I then untarred the
hostname.of.source.cmu-xml-files.tar.gz and it created
a new directory tree - so I moved all of the XML files
from the data directory that was created when I
untarred the file back up to /home/restore.
Then, as per the instructions, I ran
/usr/sbin/cmuImport -d /home/restore .
This ran pretty good for about 10 sites then just
stalled. I waited 30 minutes and still nothing. Hit
control c and rackbackup.sh moved onto the next
domain, and stalled again.
I then tried loading a single domain using the command
/usr/sbin/cmuImport -d /home/restore -n www.mysite.com
. This seemed to work for the first domain then I
tryed a second domain and it stalled again.
After hitting control c a time or two I got this
message from raqbackup.sh "ERROR: The aliases file is
locked".
I assume this is what is causing my hanging problems,
but I dont know that for sure. Can anyone tell me
what might be causing the aliases file to be locked
and how I can go about correcting this problem?
Thank you in avance - I appreciate any quick answers
as I have been at this for 2 days now.
Thanks again,
Max
