forgive me wise aged cobalters :-)

I have been following any number of threads about mailscanner and spamassassin, done a lot of
reading in the archives, and a lot of googling.

I've installed Steve Bassi's mailscanner PKG (3.21 ver I believe) which was a godsend and a
lifesaver (THANK YOU STEVE - to where can I send the cheque?)

I want to reduce the incoming spam here in our office and have found excellent raq-specific
SpamAssassin instructions at Parker Morse's excellent site (http://bluebird.sinauer.com/
~morse/cobalt/procmail.html) but am worried about SA and MailScanner playing nicely
together.

Can anyone assuage my fears?

Has anyone SA and mailscanner running in harmony and can offer me some pointers?

Is it madness of me to consider manually installing f-prot linux and spamassassin?

This is a RaQ4, stock and fully patched, with openwebmail from pkgmaster and Steve Bassi's
mailscanner package.

thanks for any and all advice and for months of education and entertaining reading
