I think that's the default in the RaQ version. At least it was already
set that way in my sendmail.cf.
What I was referring to was the server responding:
> RCPT TO: <foo@xxxxxxxxxxx>
553 5.3.0 <foo@xxxxxxxxxxx>... No such user here
I'd prefer if it said:
> RCPT TO: <foo@xxxxxxxxxxx>
250 2.1.5 <foo@xxxxxxxxxxx>... Recipient ok
but still rejected the mail as no such user, if a real attempt to send
mail occurred and there was no such user. That would stop any potential
scripts to confirm addresses using RCTP TO.
