RE: [cobalt-users] Mailing list manager behavior change?

I've never used the lists facility within Cobalts - one of our customers
does though....

She sent out a list mailing only a couple of days ago - now the list is
ablaze with unsubscribe messages, as one person was seemingly able to reply
to the list, instead of replying to the list owner - I thought this wasn't
how the lists on the Cobalts worked - I was under the impression that only
the list manager was able to email the list if it was setup in such a way.

I am not sure how these people keep doing this, other than they have their
default mail-client behavior set to "Reply to all" rather than a simply
"Reply". But regardless of how these people got email onto the list, I have
to STOP it - and stop it NOW.

On further inspections, I am unable to find anything that remotely looks
like setting up a mailing list for distribution only by the list owner - is
there some default setting I can change somewhere without the gui to
accomplish this?

thanks

Hi Greg,

Ditch them off the majordomo thing, its just about useless - I'm using a
thing called MyMail now, its works exceptionally well for unidirectional
mailinglists with plain and html signups and validation of subscriptions.
It'll import existing lists easily as well.
