Hi
We are running one Cobalt Raq4r server. It has
the RAID facility. Recently one of the hard disk has
been corrupted. So now it is running only with one
hard disk. We need to by another hard disk and replace
it.
Now the problem is we need to buy exactly
similar hard disk for that and place it..I also heard
from Sun Cobalt ,that there is no way we can exchange
the disk, if anything does not match.
So before buying we need to be very careful.
Can anyone give me some hints - what are the things i
need to check in my server to know what kind of hard
disk with the size etc, we will buy? Here i am giving
the output of the df command.
server [root /proc]# df
Filesystem 1k-blocks Used Available
Use% Mounted on
/dev/md1 743371 599742 143629
81% /
/dev/md3 198275 57141 141134
29% /var
/dev/md4 36075339 18974226 17101113
53% /home
Thanks in advance..
