I have a pair of them in my home office and I'll agree that the "noise" is
predominately the result of air flow. My old Qube2s were never as loud.
I'm going to do some recabling and move them out to the garage with the
ducted vac system.
An alternative you might like to consider is to trade your Qube3 in on an
Apple G4 Cube and install MacOS X or MacOS X Server ... totally silent!
Now there is an idea ... since Sun have "dropped the ball" wrt the Qube3
there is an opportunity for Apple to re-release the G4 Cube as a SOHO
Server.
