I seem to be having a strange problem with sendmail on a RaQ2 that recently
moved networks.
We went from 64.90.36.144 to 204.155.147.34 early this morning. Everything
worked great before the move.
Now, all services appear to be working fine on the RaQ. No trouble reported
by the GUI. I am able to load pages from all the vsites hosted on it.
However, when running a check from www.checkdns.net or www.dnsreport.com the
server times out roughly 60% of the time. E-mail is getting through (it's
still early in the morning, so difficult to judge volume) but appears to be
taking longer than normal - likely due to timeouts.
As a temporary measure, I have enabled a second machine to accept mail for
the main domain (with a much lower priority) and forward it to the
appropriate accounts on the main server. However, when I check the headers
on e-mail that is received, I have yet to see one go through the second MX
(perhaps because it is much further down on the totem pole, so to speak).
The timeout issue happens for all domains on the server.
Any ideas on what I should be checking?
Thanks!
Chris
