Yes - I know. Although there SHOULD be a way to request that gtld glue records are refreshed.

I fully comprehend the implications.
My point was the person replying had not read my post, where I clearly stated that the gtld nameservers' TTL was the problem. I think he was under the impression that my own TTL settings were a part of the problem - they are NOT. We have those set to 15 minutes, and have had for some time, in anticipation of this exact problem. Not having moved nameservers before though, I wondered if there was any way to have your glue records refreshed at all - if there isn't - they should be.
