If any of you are interested in the official word about this from
Mindspring/Earthlink, go to Google and query for:

mindspring mail server spam

The first item called "Support Center", click CACHED and then cancel
(about 6 times) to the authentication dialogs. It will finally let you
in to read the page.

Our ISP allows us to send email from users@our domain name through their smtp server (but we had to ask and they had to set it up. I guess its like the "relay mail from" in the cobalt GUI?). When we moved to them 3 years ago they wouldn't allow us to connect to our own server to send mail. Shame really, their server occasionally takes 3 hours to send a mail it has.
