Progress of sorts. With mail.designwall.co.uk in as an email server alias I
get no change, however adding 'designwall.co.uk' into the web server alias
has returned a slightly different message:
"MX list for www.designwall.co.uk. points back to me"
So I'm no longer seeing the server root name. Any further suggestions
welcome, and in fact begged for. This is very confusing.

I have only got designwall.co.uk and wall-2-wall.com in the local-host-names
files. This seems to be keeping in line with the other hosted sites which
are working correctly.
The hostname of the machine is pridns.artejano.com (which appeared in the
original loop back/MX problem message).
The idea of upgrading sendmail fills me with dread... :-)
