Are you sure the mail can be delivered? Check what's happening. Run tail
-f /var/log/maillog after you run that command. If it's a remote mail
server, maybe they're down, or it's spam your server is trying to bounce
to an undeliverable address and it's going to sit there for 5 days until
the server says it's done trying and deletes it.
