Have you tried restoring the CMOS?
Do this:
Power unit OFF
HOLD "E"
Power unit ON
Wait till LCD says "CMOS RESTORED"
Release "E"
Power OFF
Power ON

Try again...
PS: Perhaps you could have a look at your signature? (check below)

These things could bog down the cobalt-users list... Cause it is being sent
