Has anyone else had issues with RAQPORT?
I also wanted to use them to buy a few RAQs maybe... Has anyone here bought
RAQs for them? How was your experience.
Is there an alternative?
Thank you.

Rude people suck, point blank ... I haven't worked with RaQ Port at all, but
I know Gerald (FrontStreet Networks) helps a lot of people on this list, and
has some quality refurbs.

Check him out, and just because your looking.

offers some enhancements as well, no hardware, all software there.
But, I would check out Gerald. Just my opinion.
Thanks,

I have dealt with Alex at Raqport.
He may be a little to busy to handle you properly. I'm not sure.
I originally had him install their "security package"
when I first got started with Raq's.
I have purchased Raq's off ebay, put in new memory and a hard
drive and haven't had any problems to date.
I purchased one Raq from Alex, transaction was fine.
I was trusting Alex for security on my servers until
I was hacked and found out from Alex that the auto patching
was turned off, yet I wasn't notified. Then I found
cobalt-users and can do it all myself (with the kind help of
some folks on cobalt-users and the wonderful packages
that are available)
Hope that helps.
Best,
Tom Nelson
