I don't know if Ap internally regenerates a new request for the
error page (not what you want), or if it loads the desired script
and passes the old parameters (in which case you could do it).
My recollection is it's the former. :-( I could well be wrong.
Personally, I just write custom Ap modules for this sort of
situation. Much less resource-intensive than CGI or PHP.
