RE: [cobalt-users] SOMEONE HELP!!! GRR :)

Just FYI, I snagged the 4.0.12 SRPMs from MySQL.com and they built fine
on my RaQ550, but they refused to run (I got a segfault whenever I tried
to run MySQL.) I have had the same problem with other programs -- I
think it's due to the outdated software on the RaQ550.

Ok, I've been trying to compile MySQL 4.0.12 SRPM on a RAQ550, with gcc
2.95.3.
I also tried the latest SRPM of ImageMagick...
Now... I keep getting these compiler errors, like these...

Now, I upgrade gcc... to 3.2.2.... Gives me a "can not find compiler"
(or
whatever) error...
So I upgrade to the latest glibc....
Then this happens:

[root SPECS]# rpm -ba my*
Segmentation fault (core dumped)

Ok, does ANYONE have a clue on what to do? HELP!!!
Thanks SO much :)
