Looks like a botched glibc upgrade.  This can be very painful on
a Linux system, because even basic system management binaries
require libc. :-(

Your best bet is to:

* Put the HDD in another Linux system
* Mount the root partition
* Copy working glibc libraries and the dynamic linker
  (ld-linux.so.2 is the dynamic linker)
* Create the needed symlinks.

Hopefully then you'll be able to boot just enough (consider
single-user mode) to mount all partitions and run 'ldconfig'.

Mount the drive on another system and perform voodoo as stated
above.  It can be fixed.

You need a "life support" system.  GNU/Linux stinks like that, as
I've ranted so many times... :-(
