Thank for the help everyone. It looks we are now able to connect to the raq.
At bootup SecureCRT displays "ÿÿÿÿÿÿÿ" and hyperterm displays "" .
I'm assuming they mean the same thing just interpreted differently. We've
tried mutliple computers with the same null modem cable and got the same
results each time. We've tried changing the connection settings many times.
The problem may be related to the null modem cable. We've ordered a null
modem cable from a web site someone suggested, hopefully it will work better
than our homemade one.
