Also I am not able to boot from ROM. Steps taken:
When booting from ROM
boot
set_params single
bfd
I shows from the LCD that it is loading kernel then, it just goes through regular boot sequence loading the OS. I wanted to boot from ROM and then type:
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/hda
dd if=/dev/zero of=/dev/hdd
I still do not know why it is hdd and not hdc since it is set to secondary master. Also is there a linux kernel when booting into ROM that may have gotten corrupt, which is why I cannot drop down to a root shell booting into ROM?
Thanks,
Elmer
