I've been receiving an admin alert that indicates sendmail isn't
functioning. It's happended a few tims now and it appears to restart
during the next alert cycle (15 minutes) but the last time it was down
for 8 hours (overnight) before it restarted. This does not occur during
heavy loads. POP and IMAP continue to function. I see nothing unusal in
the logs. I have Solarspeed's firewall installed and Sendmail patches
16402 and 16429 installed. Does anyone have an idea as to why this
might be occuring.
