Look at your SOA records are both nameservers in there.
dig host.domain.tld SOA
or just
dig host.domain.tld
should show the nameservers.
You have to tell the master nameserver who the slave is.
And the slave has to know that he is serving as a slave for the domain.
You may substitue primary for master and secondary for slave above.
Those names are depreciated (kind of like Sun)
