Someone put up info a while back on the list about using VMWare to build an
image from an OS Restore CD (Gavin? Taco?). I don't know if Virtual PC
would do that same thing or not. Remember, too, that the RaQ is a
different animal than a regular server or PC - it's ROM is not a standard
BIOS.
FWIW, I'd also check with the RaQ 3 lessor and see what they say about
rebuilding with RaQ 4 OS. They could (should) always OS Restore it before
giving it to another customer anyway, so even if you put RaQ 4 OS on it,
and then turn it in, they could put RaQ 3 OS back on it. (I personally
think they'd find that a hard sell these days though...)
