Have you tried connecting a null modem serial cable to the serial port and
see what it's spewing? Might give more specific info where it's falling
down...
Params are 115200 N-8-1. I'm guessing you've got either a bad ROM image
which can't properly uncompress to start executing, or the ROM kernel is
not identical to the on-disk kernel, and thus the handoff from ROM (stage
1) to disk (stage 2) is broken.
