When you set up a PTR record it asks for the subnet mask so that in the DNS 
settings you see 62.171.199.74/255.255.###.###
This is the subnet mask our school uses it does not reference to a set of ip 
addresses that include 62.171.199.74. Wondered if this was a problem.

I have not sorted granitecanyon yet! Got enough problems with RM at present 
and possible these will improve whenRM get it right.

Please explain. how do I set the dns so the server knows it is authoritive. 
Getting lost at this point or maybe its the lack of coffee!
