Hello,

There is a far more easier solution for this problem :

When you open /etc/httpd/conf/httpd.conf you see at the top of this file :
LoadModule pam_external_auth_module modules/mod_auth_pam_external.so

Remove this line at the top or comment it out.

Scroll some lower in the file until you see :
#LoadModule digest_auth_module modules/mod_auth_digest.so

Please the earlier removed / commented line at that place.

And webalizer pkg is working correctly.
