Actually it is even "easier" that all that. Just configure SSH tunnelling.
Open an SSH session to the server in question and "tunnel" your port 25
connections to the server through that. Works great and is "relatively"
secure and does not in any way "violate" most ISP TOS/AUP and such since the
connection is limited to "your" server in this context.
