hi folks,
i try to backup my raq550 but i dont understand the manual. knox backup and legato networker both need a special server to backup my raq. where do i get these servers?do i have to buy serversoftware and a server to set up the mackup for my raqs or what? how do you get your raq 50 backuped?
I am using rdiffbackup. I have one server at offsite location with 1.5
to 2 times the total space on my servers for backup. To do this I had to
compile rdiffbackup at my raq's. I have done this on raq3 and raq550.
Backing up one server with total 4.1 GB data using 8 minutes with
4Mbit/s transfer. Space on backupserver about 4.4 GB saving at least 2
month of changes. I am pretty happy with this system. It is fast, well
working and easy to use.
