Sorry for this somewhat off-topic post, but I am sure many on this
list have solved this problem and I can't seem to find the solution.

Please reply to me OFF-LIST.


We are looking for a payment processor that can handle out billing and
payment processing for a service we are launching. Customers will be
billed on a monthly basis. The amount they are billed depends on the
amount they use the service. This model looks to me exactly like a
hosting company (i.e charge basic rate plus per-usage rate, monthly).

We do not want to store credit card numbers so are looking for a
third-party to handle all this billing for us. Is anyone using such a
service? Any recommendations? All I have been able to find are
companies who have $5,000 entry fees or charge $400 / month!
