Barbara,
It's because they are using your DNS servers. Ask them to change them or to un-check 'Register this connection's addresses in DNS' on the DNS tab in Advanced settings on their workstations or servers. I guess you could also block them with ipchains? Someone with more knowledge in that area may want to comment.
