Maybe it is something easier....
I have been running into bad ports on some of the
switches I have servers on.... and loosing connections
is one of the problems.

Also did you do a re-boot ???
or did you cycle the power on the
switch or hub you are plug into ???

If you are co-located, contact your co-locator/ISP
and tell him/her the problem.

Questions and request....

Can you plug the Raq into a different port ???
Can you reboot or power cycle the switch ???
Are other servers or equipment having the same problem ??
Does the Router that the hub/switch is plug into have errors in the logs??
If so, can you re-boot the router ??
Can you power cycle the Raq ???
